Brad Farber has joined
Mid-West Seed
Services, Inc. (MWSS) as the Corn Laboratory Manager.
Brad is in charge of managing
daily operations of our corn physiology and herbicide trait
testing laboratory, managing work flow through area
coordinators/supervisors to meet company quality/throughput
objectives, training technologists on MWSS standard operating
procedures, AOSA, and ISTA testing methodologies, tracking
physiology and herbicide trait testing quality to assure
consistency with environmental regime monitoring, seed sample
check systems and participating in industry referees.
Brad is a graduate of South Dakota
State University (SDSU) with a BS in Agricultural Education abd
a minor in Animal Science. He earned his Master in Agronomy at
SDSU.
Brad has worked at the SDSU Plant
Science Department as a Manager/Research Associate and helped in
planning, preparing and conducting soil fertility research on
corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, barley and flax. He also oversaw
management on 115-acre research farm involving 12 research
projects.
Brad and his wife Nadine have 3
daughters. |
