The Giants are back… and they’re better than ever. The newest installment of Seed World’s groundbreaking video series, Giant Views of the Industry Online, is available at www.seedworld.com

This streaming video series features interviews with leading thinkers in the seed industry. Updated on a monthly basis, you can now access the interview with Pat Hinner, President of Agra Industries, a 45 year old family business that is dedicated to providing the seed, feed, grain, milling, fertilizer and ethanol industries with a single source for their facility and in-plant equipment needs.

Hinner discusses the importance of research and development to continual innovation in his business and the impact of the alternative fuel trend on corn and soybean production and its resulting effect on the seed industry.

While Hinner is the newest Giant found on the Seed World web site, you can also watch any previous interviews you may have missed, like Bill Goodbar, Managing Director at AgriCapital, an investment banking firm specialized in agribusiness, who shares his views on the future of consolidation in the seed industry, and Andrew LaVigne, President and CEO of the American Seed Trade Association, who encourages proactive communication about the industry. You can also find the comments of Canadian Seed Trade Association President, Dorothy Murrell, who speaks about the challenges facing the Canadian seed industry.

Giant Views of the Industry is now brought to you in an easy to use format that breaks the interview down into bite-sized pieces so you can view the topics you want when you want, without having to watch the entire video in one sitting. Just click on any of the one to two minute long segments you wish to view.

Giant Views of the Industry is part of the Seed World family of publications which includes the Seed World magazine, the Seed World web site, and the Seed Week weekly e-newsletter.
