Grand Challenges is the overall
theme of this twoday conference featuring general sessions,
focused workshops, commercial exhibits and networking. A line up
of 22 speakers will bring the latest information about key
issues to Indiana Crop
Improvement Association’s 108 th Annual Conference on
Thursday and Friday, February 7-8,
2008 at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel and Suites at Keystone
Crossing.
With flexible registration options attendees can sign up for one
or both days. The Thursday morning program will feature The
Grand Challenges for Agriculture topics such as Food Safety,
Climate Change, Challenges and Opportunities in the Development
of Health Products, and a look at The Decade Ahead in
Agribusiness, with Purdue College of Agriculture, Glen W. Sample
Dean; Randy Woodson.
Thursday afternoon promises more opportunities for learning with
workshops on Corn & Soybean production and management issues, a
more indepth session on Climate Change and a stepbystep user
tutorial of Indiana Crop Improvement’s customer service software
programs for Barcoding,
Online test results and coming soon; Field Inspection.
After a chockablock day of learning attendees are welcome to
spend some time socializing and networking with exhibitors and
colleagues, followed by a banquet to include The Clayton Miller
Band as the entertainment.
And that’s not all…
Attendees will want to stick around for a dynamic Friday session
to feature a panel of experts discussing Indiana Agricultural
Regulatory and Taxation Systems and other Hot Ag Topics.
