Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. is pleased to announce the
addition of two interns for the summer of 2007. Michael Kruppa
and Kevin Hahn will be joining the Golden Acres sales team.
Michael Kruppa is a student at Texas A&M University, pursuing a
degree in Agriculture Leadership Development with an emphasis in
Animal Science. Michael grew up in Bay City, Texas and always
dreamed of attending A&M and pursuing a career in the
agriculture field. Michael was active in FFA where he served as
President and participated in chapter conducting, livestock
judging and public speaking. Michael’s experience includes
Triangle Turf, Inc., S&S Farms, and Texas A&M Transportation
Services. Michael is excited about this summer and looking
forward to serving as a Golden Acres intern, where he hopes that
he will be able to broaden his knowledge of the seed industry
and open new doors for the future. Upon his graduation in May
2008, Michael hopes to obtain a job somewhere in the field of
agriculture.
Kevin Hahn is also a student at Texas A&M University pursuing a
double major in agribusiness and agricultural economics. His
experience includes past work in production agriculture, pest
consulting and research for the state of Texas, and current work
at Southwest Agribusiness Consulting. Kevin hails from Port
Lavaca, Texas where he participated actively in 4-H for 10
years, raising rabbits, goats, and steers. Kevin’s favorite past
times include fishing and bow-hunting. Kevin is looking forward
to his internship this summer as an opportunity to gain
knowledge of the seed business from the aspect of marketing and
sales, and assisting farmers on a personal basis. Kevin will
graduate in December 2008 at which time he intends to have a
better concept of which area of the agriculture industry he
wishes to pursue. |
