Mid-West Seed Services, Inc. is now offering an Adventitious Presence (AP) or GMO test for conventional and Clearfield seed rice.  The test screens a minimum of 1200 seedlings with Glufosinate (Liberty) herbicide.  Seedlings expressing tolerance to the herbicide are confirmed by ELISA Lateral flow stick test. 

Identification of the LL601 event can also be conducted on Liberty tolerant seedlings or milled rice grain using Real Time PCR testing for an additional fee.
