Inc., one of Canada’s leading agricultural biotechnology
companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Malcolm
Devine, Ph.D., as Vice-President, Crop Development and
Commercialization.
Dr. Devine brings an impressive background in
research and commercialization to this position. Prior to
joining Performance Plants Inc. he was a Research Director at
the National Research Council’s Plant Biotechnology Institute in
Saskatoon. Malcolm has worked in Canada and Europe with major
agriculture companies including Aventis and Bayer Crop Science.
He has significant experience as a professor and department head
in the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Devine completed his Ph.D. in weed science at the University
of Guelph.

Saskatchewan, in The Company’s crop development centre.

BIOTECanada, the national association representing the Canadian
biotechnology community.
