Hazera Genetics launches new logo
Shikmim, Israel
October 11, 2006

Hazera Genetics’ new logo reflects the brand’s global, groundbreaking and developing values.

Hazera Genetics, a constantly evolving company which breeds, produces and markets vegetable and field crop hybrid seeds, is launching a new logo to replace the one that was closely identified with the company for over 65 years.

The new logo reflects the adaptation of the company to the global economy and the spirit of times, while preserving the distinguished reputation of the company throughout world – a reputation that is identified mostly with the previous logo. The new logo, reflects three elements which are part of the company's business identity: First, a message of a global company open to the community and to the changes taking place therein (a graphic of an open circle); second, a message of a flourishing and developing company (dynamic and flowing lines); and third, a message that emphasizes vegetables in addition to field crops (a “general” stalk).

Rami Dar, CEO of Hazera Genetics, explained: “The new logo was introduced against a background of new developments in the markets in which Hazera operates and the recent change in the company’s ownership by the Villmorin group, which in turn led to a new message that the company seeks to generate in the business community. The logo is the company’s outer face and identity and represents our image in our own eyes and the message it wishes to put across.”

Hazera Genetics is one of the world’s leading companies in breeding, producing and marketing of vegetables and field crops hybrid seeds. Hazera specializes in advanced R&D, global marketing and agro technical support. Headquartered in Israel, the company develops and implements a far-reaching network of international activities, including marketing, R&D and production, in more than 50 countries around the world.
The company has been active for over 65 years and is constantly developing new products designed to fulfill market requirements, including health improvements and nutritional advantages, superior quality, exceptionally high yield, year-round supply, resistance to a variety of diseases and a long shelf life.
