Growers and retailers can use a
new national web site,
www.AgriEdge.com, to learn more about maximizing yields and
minimizing risk with the AgriEdge™ Corn and AgriEdge Soybean
programs from Syngenta. Customized by state, the national site
details the broad range of crop production technologies and
services and industry-leading risk management assurances that
characterize the AgriEdge programs.
“The AgriEdge web site puts all the resources of the program at
retailers’ and growers’ fingertips,” said Rex Wichert,
Agribusiness Marketing Manager at
Syngenta. “With a simple
mouse-click, growers can see how participating in the AgriEdge
programs can help them optimize yields, manage risk and
integrate flexible agronomic solutions that best fit their
particular farming challenges.”
"The AgriEdge Corn program combines premium genetics, traits and
superior crop protection options," said Wichert. "Participating
growers can get comprehensive assurances, flexibility in
agronomic tools, and integrated technology solutions for
protecting yields from weed competition. In addition, the
program aids growers in managing potential herbicide resistance
and offers season-long insect protection."
Growers who purchase corn hybrids with Agrisure™ traits are
automatically enrolled in the AgriEdge Corn Program. For more
information on Agrisure traits, visit www.AgrisureTraits.com.
The AgriEdge Soybean Program features a portfolio of seed
treatment, plus insect and disease control options. Key AgriEdge
Soybean components are the Trial and Assurance Program and the
Grain Premium Program, which awards growers with premiums based
on yield. They combine risk management tools and premium
genetics to minimize stress and weed competition for soybeans.
Retailers and growers can find details on both programs on
www.AgriEdge.com.
The AgriEdge Corn and Soybean sections of the website describe
the nature of each program, including qualifying seed and crop
protection products. They also feature Syngenta sales
representative and AgriEdge retailer locators, testimonials,
redemption tools and information on the AgriEdge Soybean
Symposiums and Syngenta Learning Centers.
