Philom Bios Inc. (PBI) and Grains Research Development Corporation (GRDC) are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Sanford Gleddie, as the first Chief Executive Officer for Philom Bios (Australia) Pty Ltd. (PBA).
Having served in various senior roles within PBI and currently Vice President, Research and Business Development, Mr. Gleddie brings over 18 years of sales, marketing and technology development experience to PBA. Mr. Sanford Gleddie will assume the CEO role for PBA effective July 1, 2006.

PBA Board Chair and GRDC Executive Manager New Products, Vince Logan states, “Sanford was instrumental in the successful commercialization of PBI’s proprietary technology in North America and has worked with inoculant technology for nearly 20 years. He is the ideal person to lead PBA in Australia as it builds its business around the
development and delivery of unique inoculant technology to Australian grain growers.”

PBA Director and PBI President/CEO Calvin Sonntag added, “PBA is an exciting venture that is designed to bring added productivity to the Australian grower. This will come in two forms: the successful introduction of PBI’s current technology and the development and commercialization of the growing list of emerging technologies supported by GRDC and its research partners. Sanford’s experience, leadership talents, and commitment to serving the needs of customers and stakeholders will surely bring tremendous value to PBA.”
