Syngenta has added
three team members to its corn and soybeans seeds marketing
department. Brad Wiersum has been named head of
soybean marketing and joins the marketing leadership team. Kurt
Harries has been named soybean product manager, and
Eric Ford corn product manager.

As head of
soybean marketing, Wiersum will lead the soybean business
strategy, brand positioning and product lifecycle
management. He has extensive experience in product and
brand marketing, most recently as vice president, marketing
and sales for CHS (Cenex Harvest States). Wiersum
previously held marketing roles with United Sugars,
Pillsbury, Martha White Foods and General Mills.
As soybean
product manager, Harries, an employee of Syngenta legacy
companies since 1989, will be responsible for coordinating
soybean demand, supply allocation and product portfolio
management. Since 2005, Harries has served as Customer Care
manager for NK Brand with a primary focus on soybeans.
Ford, has
been with Syngenta legacy companies since 2001, most
recently as transactional support manger. As corn product
manager, he will be responsible for coordinating corn
demand, supply allocation and product portfolio management.
