Golden Acres Genetics announces new director of sales and new sales representative
Waco, Texas
July 24, 2006

Building on its company mission to provide custom seed solutions to Southern farmers,
Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. is pleased to announce the hiring of Jay Stidham (photo) as
the new Director of Sales.  Jay was most recently District Sales Manager for Mycogen Seeds/
Dow AgroScienes in
Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado and Missouri. He also worked as an agronomist for DEKALB, Lynks Seeds, and Crows Hybrid Corn Company.

In his new position, Jay will manage the entire sales organization for Golden Acres.  He began his new position on July 10, 2006.

Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. President, Lou Buice says, “Jay brings strong sales and marketing experience from the biotechnology sector to Golden Acres. Jay’s energy and passion for the seed business coupled with his genetic and trait experience will be a welcomed addition to the Golden Acres management team.”

Jay will be relocating from the Omaha area to the corporate office in Waco. Jay and his wife Rhonda have two children, Cody (13) and Shelby (11).   

Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. is also pleased to announce the newest addition to their sales team. James Baxter has been brought on as the new sales rep for New Mexico, West Texas, Texas & Oklahoma panhandle.

James was most recently an agent with the Texas Farm Bureau in Canyon, Texas. He also worked as farm services manager and district sales manager for Monsanto, and marketing manager for Agrigenetics. James brings 10 years of agricultural experience from the West Texas geography.

He will begin his new position on August 1, 2006.

James is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Agricultural Education. He and his wife, Cindy, currently live in Amarillo, Texas.
