New Gustafson Batch Modular Coater (BMC) now available for small seed lots
Shakopee, Minnesota
July 19, 2006

The new Gustafson Batch Modular Coater (BMC) made its debut appearance at the Gustafson exhibit during the 2006 ASTA Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference.

Designed specifically to treat small lots or scaleup samples of vegetable, parent and specialty seed types, the Gustafson BMC utilizes the same advanced seed and chemical application and mixing process used in the commercial CBT-25/50, 100 or 200 treaters from Gustafson.

The BMC is available in fully automated or manual versions, and comes with a choice of three mixing bowl sizes, including 8-ounce to 2-pound, 2 to 5 pounds and 5 to 10 pounds.

Features include a dry applicator for applying drying and buildup powders, an atomizer for optimal treatment-to-seed coverage, electromechanical scale for seed weight accuracy and closed calibration pumps for accurate metering of liquid product to seed.

For full details about the new Gustafson BMC from Bayer CropScience, visit the Gustafson website at http://www.bayercropscience.com/BAYER/CropScience/BCSUS.nsf/id/Gust_Downloads?opendocument.
