A new regional
seed company, AgVenture of Eastern Kansas, Iola, Kansas
announces its launch along with the announcement that it has
signed an exclusive territory agreement with
AgVenture, Inc. of
Kentland, Indiana. AgVenture of Eastern Kansas will market
AgVenture® brand corn and soybeans to customers across 40
eastern Kansas counties. AgVenture of Eastern Kansas General
Manager Sales and Marketing, Tom Woodworth brings twenty plus
years of seed business expertise to the helm of this new
operation. Woodworth said, “We look forward to providing eastern
Kansas producers with AgVenture’s expansive, global seed
genetics and technology portfolio. That access, combined with
our ability to adapt hybrids specifically for eastern Kansas is
truly a unique and exceptional opportunity that provides
terrific advantage for our customers.”

served as field sales manager and district sales manager for
twenty years; most recently, he was with NK for nearly 15 years.

Warehouse and office facilities for the seed
company will be based in Iola. Woodworth and his wife, Regina,
who reside in Iola, together have four children and four
grandchildren.
