International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) announces two new membership categories

During the Ordinary Meeting 2006 held in Zurich, Switzerland, the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) voting delegates decided positively on the installation of new ISTA membership categories.

The new categories of membership are 'Associate Member' and 'Corporate Member'.

An 'Associate Member' is a person who is not a Personal Member, but who supports the Association and its objectives, and is admitted by the Association.

  • An Associate Member pays the ISTA membership price on all ISTA products, services and meetings (e.g. Membership meetings, Congresses, Workshops and Symposia). Member prices are at least 1/3 cheaper than non-member prices.
  • An Associate Member has priority for membership of an ISTA Technical Committee over non-ISTA members.
  • The fee for becoming an Associate Member is EUR 130.- per year.
  • Necessary application forms can be received from the ISTA Secretariat at above address.

A 'Corporate Member' is an organisation which supports the Association and its objectives, and acts as donor, providing sponsorship to the Association.

  • Organisations that like to support the vision and the work of ISTA in general can become ISTA Corporate Member.
  • Corporate Membership entitles to full information on all aspects of ISTA.
  • The fee for becoming an ISTA Corporate Member is EUR 6'500.- per year.
  • Necessary application forms can be received from the ISTA Secretariat at above address.

ISTA now offers four different categories of membership – ISTA Member Laboratory, ISTA Personal Member, ISTA Associate Member, ISTA Corporate Member.
