Issues Ink, publisher of Germination magazine, purchases Seed World magazine

Issues Ink, publisher of Germination magazine, has purchased Seed World magazine from Scranton Gillette Communications. The purchase also includes the Seed World web site and Seed Week, Seed World’s weekly e-newsletter.

Edward Gillette, President of Scranton Gillette Communications, says that Issues Ink’s background and experience in the seed sector will allow for a smooth and successful transition.

Robynne Anderson, President of Issues Ink, says she looks forward to continuing to provide the readership of Seed World with a quality, issues-based publication that explores leading-edge ideas for the seed industry.

Transfer of the web site and e-newsletter takes place August 1, 2006 and Issues Ink’s first edition of Seed World comes out in November 2006.

Issues Ink is a communications and issues management company with 16 years experience in the agriculture sector. In addition to Germination, the magazine of the Canadian seed industry, Issues Ink also publishes seed.ab.ca, Alberta’s seed guide; Spud Smart, the primary publication in the Canadian potato industry; and Reach & Discover, showcasing agricultural research.
