Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. announced today their new seed hybrid lineup for the 2007 planting season. Golden Acres Genetics is introducing seven new hybrids to their product portfolio which combine the latest seed technology traits with the proven performance of Golden Acres’ hybrids.

2821RLH (115 Day Maturity) – This unique “triple-stack” hybrid combines powerful Herculex insect protection with the herbicide flexibility of the Roundup Ready and LibertyLink traits. This flex eared hybrid has great yield potential and a solid agronomic package contributes to outstanding performance across a wide geography.

2833RRW (115 Day Maturity) – This great hybrid combines Roundup Ready      flexibility with YieldGard Rootworm protection for continuous corn acres. It boasts terrific yield potential with excellent plant health and drought stress tolerance. It is also a solid complement to Golden Acres 2831RRB and 2835RRBW

8240 (117 Day Maturity) – New, high-yielding genetics in a conventional version make this hybrid an excellent dual choice for grain or silage and a great complement to Golden Acres 8412 and 8460.

2843RRW (117 Day Maturity) – A high-yielding corn hybrid with Roundup Ready flexibility and YieldGard Rootworm protection to maximize performance on continuous corn acres. Features a great agronomic package and plant health with large, girthy, flex ears.

2988RRB (118 Day Maturity) – Exciting new genetics with Roundup Ready and YieldGard Corn Borer protection means this hybrid delivers outstanding yield results with great test weight and vigor. It also carries unique rust-resistant gene for added disease protection.

2989RRB (119 Day Maturity) – A New full-season hybrid with Roundup Ready and YieldGard Corn Borer protection. Produces medium-high ear placement with excellent plant health and stay green.  Comparable yield to Golden Acres 2841RRB with improved test weight and grain quality

2993RRB (119 Day Maturity) – With excellent new genetics combining Roundup Ready tolerance for effective weed control and YieldGard Corn Borer trait for season-long protection against European and southwestern corn borer, this hybrid is a fantastic dual-purpose choice for grain or silage. Expect excellent plant health and drought stress tolerance.
