Columbia/Okura robotic palletizers handle case and pail palletizing without tool change
Vancouver, Washington
September 22, 2005

Columbia/Okura robotic palletizers are capable of handling of both cases and pails without the need to change tooling.

Equipped with a versatile end effector, the robot uses a flexible vacuum-grip system to adapt to a variety of pail and case sizes.  The palletizers' small footprint makes them easy to integrate into existing production areas where a single machine can handle up to four production lines simultaneously.

Like all Columbia/Okura robotic palletizers, the units are energy-efficient and feature touch-screen interfaces for user-friendly pattern programming and easy operation.  They include built-in diagnostics and fewer moving parts to ensure reliability, low maintenance and reduced overall machine wear.

The company is jointly owned by Columbia Machine and Okura Yusoki of Japan, two companies with more than 100 years of combined material-handling experience.  Customer service and parts support is located in the USA.
