NK Brand Seeds offers growers zero percent financing for 2006 seed purchases
Golden Valley, Minnesota
October 25, 2005

NK Brand Seeds announces its 2006 payment options, featuring zero percent financing or great early pay savings with the AgriFit™ Plan.  Community Choice™ financing also will be available at a growing number of local banks.

“We are excited to offer our new zero percent interest financing option for 2006 NK Brand Seeds purchases,” said Eric Brown, marketing programs manager for NK Brand Seeds.  “Not only does NK Brand deliver top-performing seed products, we also provide convenient ways to purchase them.  Our customers can find the option that best fits their business model.

The AgriFit Plan includes the new option of a zero percent interest rate on financing for orders placed by Jan. 15, 2006.  Or, growers can opt for competitive early pay savings and financing at prime (variable) interest rates through Jan. 15, 2006, or prime-plus-1 percent (variable) rates through May 15, 2006.  All AgriFit Plan choices are offered through Farm Plan™ and Rabo AgriFinance, respected national lenders.

For growers who prefer a local financing option, Community Choice financing is available at more than 1,000 local banks, offering a competitive 2 percent interest rate buy-down on purchases of $7,500 or more through participating lenders.  Early pay savings also are available through Community Choice.  With easy enrollment for both growers and lenders, Community Choice loans are like any other from the local bank with the addition of one simple document.

“Community Choice provides a competitive interest rate, while allowing growers to work with the local lenders they know and trust,” Brown said.  “With Community Choice, growers have the added satisfaction of supporting their local economy, since their money stays in the community.”

For growers not taking advantage of the financing options, the following early pay savings apply to all cash payments: 8 percent by Dec. 15, 2005; 7 percent by Jan. 15, 2006; and 4 percent by Feb. 15, 2006.  In addition, the NK Brand Early Commitment Bonus program allows growers to earn a 2 percent bonus on orders paid for by Nov. 23, 2005.

“Determining how crop inputs are paid for is a critical decision that growers face every year,” Brown said.  “NK Brand Seeds understands that different growers have different needs when it comes to financing and payment for inputs.  We offer better choices that provide flexibility to support customer success.”
