Change at the helm of South Pacific Seeds

South Pacific Seeds (SPS) announces that, as from 1st January, 2006, Mark Hancock (photo)will take over from Phil Hancock the role of Managing Director of South Pacific Seeds in Australia and New Zealand.

Mark will be responsible for both the production and marketing activities of SPS and report to the new position of CEO of the SPS Group. He will maintain direct day to day involvement in the seed production activities of SPS and, work together with the divisional managers, oversee the marketing and distribution activities of SPS.

Ed Frkovic and Shaun Jackson will continue in their current positions of Commercial Manager and National Marketing Manager respectively, in addition to their role as directors of South Pacific Seeds. They will report to Mark in all matters concerning SPS Australia and SPS New Zealand.

Mark has 19 years of experience with South Pacific Seeds and has been a director for the past 6 years.

From 1st January, 2006, Phil Hancock will take the new position of CEO of the SPS Group of Companies. This role will include overall responsibility for all companies, but with increased emphasis on North Pacific Seeds, SPS Chile, Terranova Seeds and Webling & Stewart.
