AgVenture signs MinnDak Genetics to growing
independent seed business network
MinnDak Genetics, LLC. of Stirum, North Dakota
has signed an exclusive territory agreement with
AgVenture, Inc. of Kentland, Indiana. MinnDak Genetics will
market AgVenture® brand corn, soybeans and alfalfa in
a territory spanning most of North Dakota and northern
Minnesota.
Co-owners and brothers, Todd and Ron Greenmyer
will serve the territory’s producers with their combined
experience and expertise in the seed industry. MinnDak Genetics
President, Todd Greenmyer said, “By launching this new business,
MinnDak Genetics has the opportunity to bring locally adapted
seed products to producers. After working in the seed business
for ten years, it’s refreshing to offer producers localized seed
solutions through the access we have to AgVenture’s depth and
scope of seed genetics and technologies.” Greenmyer is a
Certified Crop Advisor.
Vice President, Ron Greenmyer added, “We look
forward to developing our product line-up that suits this area
we serve. I’m anxious to work with producers to find the best
seed choices for their soils, their conditions they’re farming.”

Todd, a graduate of Mayville State University
lives in Oakes, North Dakota with his wife, Jessica and their
three children. Ron holds an agronomy degree from North Dakota
State University. Ron and his wife, Chelie and their four
children reside in Stirum, North Dakota.

Scherr’s Seeds, LLC. of Roscoe, South Dakota has
signed an exclusive territory agreement with
AgVenture, Inc. of Kentland, Indiana. Scherr’s Seeds will
market AgVenture® brand corn, soybeans, alfalfa and
sorghum in north central South Dakota and south central North
Dakota.
Scherr’s Seeds president, Steve Scherr said,
“Setting up business as an AgVenture satellite is just a great
opportunity. I have nine dealers working for me to cover this
territory well and really work with the individual seed
customers.”
He added, “I really value the ability to select
the best pedigrees that work for our area. That was evident to
me just today walking test plots. The best overall product

mix of climate, soil and conditions. Working with AgVenture, I
can select and offer seed products that will perform best right
here in our area.”
