The Ethics and Safety Committee for Agricultural Research Applications, Comepra ( COMité d' Ethique et de Précaution pour les applications de la Recherche Agronomique ), is a joint advisory body for Inra and Ifremer made up of independent experts. The Committee's task is to reflect on the relations between science and society in the field of agriculture, food and nutrition and the environment and to consider the impact and acceptability, from an ethical point of view, of the applications of agricultural research for society and to formulate recommendations.
