Growers
looking for ways to save money and get a start on 2005 can take
advantage of the seed financing programs offered by
Mycogen Seeds through Farm
Plan and Rabo AgServices. Growers can sign up for a financing
program through May 15, 2005, and use this opportunity to
purchase any Mycogen Seeds products.
“We offer a
couple different programs to fit growers’ needs,” says Chuck
Schneider, National Channel Manager, Mycogen Seeds. “The earlier
growers sign up, the more they can save in their financing.”
One of the
financing programs available through Farm Plan gives growers
Seasonal Terms with a variable interest rate of Prime minus 1
percent Annual Percentage Rate (APR).
There is a
minimum purchase of $5,000, with payment due in full on the
November 2005 statement due date. Growers have until March 15,
2005, to take advantage of this special rate.
A second
program is offered through both Farm Plan and Rabo AgServices.
Growers have until May 15 to sign up for this program that
offers Seasonal Terms with a variable interest rate of Prime
APR. Like the other program, a minimum purchase of $5,000 is
required, and payment is due in full on the November 2005
statement due date.
Another option
from Farm Plan offers No Payments/No Interest on seed purchases
for 120 days. Growers can take advantage of this program to buy
seed today and make no payments, nor accrue interest, for 120
days. For growers using this program, a minimum seed purchase of
$2,500 is required, and payment is due in full at the end of the
120-day waiver period. Growers can sign up for this program
until June 30, 2005.
