In the future, the premier new agricultural technology tradeshow, Agromek, will be held annually in Herning, Denmark the first week of December instead of in January. In 2006, to kick off the new timing, Agromek will be held in both January and December. Thereafter it will be held annually in December.

The Chairman of Agromek, Director Hans Sørensen, Assentoft Silos A/S, has made the following statements:

“The Exhibition Committee has decided that a date around 1st December is more beneficial for our customers’ requirements and decision-making. This new date will also provide more time for planning for our exhibitors.”

”We hope that this new date will also result in full cooperation regarding a joint, major national and international exhibition in Denmark.”

The decision means that there will be a transitional situation in 2006. Agromek will thus be held in January and December 2006. The exhibition will thereafter be held every year in December.

Agromek has a waiting list of companies hoping to gain exhibit space. 

Agromek is arranged as cooperation between the Danish Farmers and Danish Manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery organizations.
