 Cal/West
Seeds announces the promotion of Mr. Keith Wehri (photo),
former Operations Manager for Cal/West Seeds, to Vice-President,
Director of Operations effective August 1, 2005. In this new
capacity, he’ll be overseeing Production as well as Operations.
Mr. Paul Frey,
President / CEO of Cal/West Seeds, states: “Keith has done an
outstanding job of bringing Plant Operations, Customer Service,
and the Seed Lab together in a team approach, while playing a
key role in managing our inventory and getting our plants
on-line.”
Mr. Frey
continues, “Keith has brought a wealth of prior experience to
our team, which makes him uniquely qualified for his new
responsibilities.” He had served as an Assistant Plant Manager
for four years and then Plant Manager for eight years at Pioneer
HiBred’s Woodland, CA facility.
Mr. Wehri’s
educational background includes a BS in Agronomy from UC Davis
and MBA from California State University, Sacramento. He also
has extensive experience in computers and Six Sigma, a quality
and efficiency improvement method. |
