Fontanelle Hybrids expands its sales force with four new district sales managers
Fontanelle, Nebraska
August 10, 2005

“In our continuing effort to provide unparalleled service to our customers, we have expanded our Sales Team with four new district sales managers,” Steve Pike, sales manager said. “These additions will give us more complete coverage in Eastern Kansas, Central Iowa, North Central Iowa, South Central Minnesota and Eastern Nebraska.”

“It was interesting in discussing with the new DSMs their goals as they joined Fontanelle,” Pike said. “Each one of them placed focusing on the customer as a top priority. That certainly fits into Fontanelle’s way of doing business.”

Bob Walsten, Manhattan, Kansas, is serving Eastern Kansas. “I’m committed to doing what’s best for my customers. It’s why I wanted to join Fontanelle so my customers would have access to unique products and traits,” Walsten said. “Now I have the ability to supply products that will bring value to my customers.”

Neal Borgmeyer, Indianola, Iowa is serving Central Iowa. “Fontanelle takes pride in being a seed partner with customers,” Borgmeyer said. “One of the ways I can help to be a partner is by sharing the agronomic experience I have. I’m looking forward to building and maintaining partnerships with our customers.”

Rick Schultz, Albert Lea, Minnesota is serving North Central Iowa and South Central Minnesota. “One of my goals is to expand Fontanelle’s territory in Minnesota by introducing Fontanelle to growers in areas currently not served by the Company,” Schultz said. “For current customers, my goal is to help position products and traits in the best way possible for their operation.”

Rick Guenther, West Point, Nebraska is serving several counties in Eastern Nebraska as the Kaup Seed representative. “It’s exciting to join Fontanelle so that I have the opportunity to provide customers with the newest technologies to supply customer needs,” Guenther said. “Coming on board as a Kaup rep transitioning to Fontanelle also gives me the chance to go through this change with my dealers and customers. One of my goals is to keep up with all the information and get that out to my dealers and customers.”
