ABSTRACT

Four new sub clover cultivars become commercially available in 2005 that are major improvements over the older cultivars they replace. The new cultivars have been developed by the National Annual Pasture Legume Improvement Program (NAPLIP). Except for some advanced lines being field trialed for red-legged earth mite tolerance, and a new brachcalycinum cultivar, these will be the last new cultivars released by the program which now focuses on other legumes. Two of the new cultivars, Urana and Coolamon, are the most suited to New South Wales environments.
