Mark Gruhn and Brian Lingle join StaufferSeeds

Gruhn Joins StaufferSeeds

StaufferSeeds is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Gruhn as StaufferSeeds Agronomy Services Manager. Mark brings a wealth of experience to this key position. He comes to StaufferSeeds from Channel Bio Corp. where he was an integral  part of the agronomy team and the Manager of Agronomy Services for Midwest Seed Genetics. 

Mark was raised in the family seed business, which was started by his grandfather in 1918.  He had the privilege of learning all aspects of the seed business from his father, Lyle, who was widely respected as one of the top seedsman in the western corn belt.  Mark grew up with dirt under his fingernails and an understanding and appreciation for farming and the American farmer.   Mark became the Research Director for Sucrosco Seeds until the late 1990's when he assumed the responsibilities of Soybean and Sorghum Product Manager and Manager of Agronomy Services as well as duties in research within Midwest.

At StaufferSeeds, Mark will be responsible for product training and assisting the sales force with product placement.  Mark will play a key role in product selection in StaufferSeeds’ corn and soybean product lines. He will also work with the field to identify opportunities for new products.   


Lingle Joins StaufferSeeds

StaufferSeeds is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Lingle to its team as a  DSM and Soybean Product Manager.  Brian brings a wealth of experience to this key position. He comes to StaufferSeeds from Kaystar Seeds where he was the company's Product Manager.

"Brian has a thorough understanding of the seed industry and will be an outstanding addition to the growing StaufferSeeds team." said Craig Williams, Manager of Operations for Lawhon Midwest LLC. Brian has also held positions relating to: seed research, district sales, seed production and distribution and supply management.

At StaufferSeeds, Brian will be responsible for soybean product development and selection, product training and serving as a District Sales Manager for a portion of Western Iowa.

StaufferSeeds is a hybrid corn and soybean seed company based in Omaha, NE. The company is focused and driven to provide high quality seed to their customers. StaufferSeeds is part of Lawhon Midwest, LLC.
