Fontanelle, Nebraska
June 4, 2004

“We are pleased to announce that Doug Dudney has been promoted to the new position of Director of Field Services and that Tom Good has accepted the position as Central Regional Sales Manager,” Steve Pike, Sales Manager, said.

During his 11 year tenure as a member of the Fontanelle sales team, Doug Dudney has served as District Sales Manager, Soybean Product Manager and Regional Sales Manager. “Now as Director of Field Services I’ll be able to continue to use my sales experience and agronomic background to further our commitment as partners with our customers,” Dudney said. Dudney’s responsibilities will include continuing his work as Soybean Product Manager in addition to working with retail accounts; as an on-call agronomist for the entire sales team; and to work with individual producers to ensure that Fontanelle is exceeding customer expectations.

“Doug’s done a great job for us, and we felt it was the right time to expand his duties so that he could work with the entire sales team instead of concentrating on one region,” Pike said. “And, at the same time, we were able to add an experienced seed professional, Tom Good, as Central Regional Sales Manager. With Tom’s 14 years of seed background we are adding another layer of professionalism to our partnership with our dealers and customers.”

“It’s an honor to join the Fontanelle team,” Good said. “Fontanelle’s name recognition among farmers is top notch. The Company is known for doing things right and for staying committed to their foundation principles as a seed business working in partnership with their customers. I’m ready to continue that tradition through working with the Central Region Team.” The Central Region covers Eastern Nebraska, Eastern Kansas and Missouri.

Fontanelle Hybrids is a 68 year old employee-owned seed company marketing corn, soybeans, grain sorghum, alfalfa and sunflowers in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, Missouri and portions of Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota and Texas.
