We are proud to announce that L. Dæhnfeldt A/S will have a new name in the future. The new name is Emergent Genetics Vegetable A/S. As you probably know, we have been owned by Emergent Genetics for 6 years and it has now been decided to change the name of the company to Emergent Genetics Vegetables A/S.

Regarding this subject, it is very important to emphasize that business will continue as usual. We will of course still provide our markets around the world with vegetable seed, and the brands of Dæhnfeldt, Ohlsens Enke and Hurst seeds will continue to be our company brands in the future, and play a very important role in the marketplace. All our agreements, both internal and external, will continue as usual.

The reason for the change of name is that we want to integrate and develop the Dæhnfeldt, Ohlsens Enke and
Hurst brands in the Emergent Genetics organization. We believe that the change of name will give us a large-scale advantage because we can work much closer together with the entire Emergent Genetics organization.
We believe that this move is a significant strengthening of the Dæhnfeldt Company in breeding, production and sales.

Emergent Genetics Vegetable A/S will proceed with the work of achieving priority status within selected products
and markets by means of a focused research in Denmark and abroad. Sales and marketing will be further intensified to strengthen our partnership with our customers around the world.

For further information please contact L. Dæhnfeldt A/S, Managing Director Christian P. Pedersen or Sales and
Marketing Director Flemming Holst Pedersen.

All breeding, production and sales of Dæhnfeldt, Ohlsens Enke and Hurst seeds brands will continue as present with Emergent Genetics Vegetable A/S strengthening their market position through Emergent Genetics, Inc. relationships.  The future goal of achieving priority status within selected products and global markets, by means of a more focused research, will also continue.
