AgVenture grows with the addition of Diamond Seeds, LLC

Diamond Seeds, LLC, of Omaha, Nebraska has signed an exclusive territory agreement with AgVenture, Inc. of Kentland, Indiana.  Diamond Seeds owner, Bruce Allen will market AgVenture brand corn, soybeans, grain sorghum and alfalfa in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. 

With more than 20 years experience in the seed industry, Allen said, “I found the idea of being in business for myself very appealing. I did a great deal of research on AgVenture, their products and their people.  I saw the success of the Satellite owners, the performance of the products and the respect they have in the field. This is a group of class individuals with intelligence and integrity.  I am anxious to share that with my customers.” 

Working with Dr. Mark Jacques, AgVenture VP of Product and Operations, Allen said he has accessed some exceptional seed products with the genetics that are top performers in his area. Allen added, “I look forward to further tailoring these hybrids to fit my customer’s needs.”

AgVenture, Inc. VP Sales & Marketing, Jim Groepper said, “The addition of Diamond Seeds to AgVenture’s growing network is a great opportunity for producers in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. Bruce’s knowledge of the seed business and the customers he serves will be an exceptional asset to the area.”  Groepper added that AgVenture continues growing, and has recently added new Satellite seed companies in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Mississippi.

A native of South Dakota, Allen holds a B.A. in business administration from Yankton College.  Allen and his wife, Julie, have five children. They reside in Omaha.
