Provision of official seals to the UK seed trade

Following completion of a competitive tendering exercise by Defra (also Acting for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) and AIC, a contract for the supply of official seed certification seals until 31 December 2007 has been awarded to UNISTO Limited.

Seed Certification (2004/10)

This letter (PDF file, 39KB: http://www.defra.gov.uk/planth/pvs/SeedCert_Inf2004/sci041201.pdf) is to inform interested parties that following a competitive tendering exercise, the contract for the supply of official seed certification seals from 1 January 2005 to 31 December 2007 has been awarded to UNISTO Limited.


The letter also contains information regarding 'labels for use on bulk bags'.
 

Information about General Licences 2004/2 and 2003/8 in this letter has been replaced with the following statement: - 'Following the incorporation within the new seed marketing amendment regulations of the provisions contained in General Licences 2004/2 and 2003/8, these General Licences have been revoked'.
