Mycogen Seeds and Dow AgroSciences announce promotions for key marketing personnel

Mycogen Seeds and Dow AgroSciences announce the promotion of several key marketing personnel at the company effective August 1.

Gardner Named Senior Marketing Specialist for Grain Corn

Mycogen Seeds has promoted Terry Gardner to Senior Marketing Specialist for Grain Corn. Gardner will be responsible for the grain corn product line and coordinating the annual marketing plan and programs. He most recently served as a District Sales Manager for the Range & Pasture and Vegetation Management markets in Dow AgroSciences’ Specialties Business. A native of Seward, Neb., Gardner is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has been with Dow AgroSciences for 18 years. 

Ramirez Named Communications Manager

Mycogen Seeds and Dow AgroSciences also have promoted Trey Ramirez to serve as Communications Manager for U.S. Seeds. Ramirez has been employed by Dow AgroSciences for five years, and most recently was Sales Information Manager for Mycogen Seeds. In his new position, Ramirez will be responsible for Herculex Insect Protection brand communications and communications for all crops at Mycogen Seeds. A native of southern Texas, Ramirez holds a bachelor’s degree in Range Sciences and a master’s degree in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University and Texas A&M University-Kingsville, respectively.

Cannon Named Forage Marketing Specialist

Mycogen Seeds has also promoted Greg Cannon to Marketing Specialist for Forages. Cannon, formerly Communications and eBusiness Manager for Mycogen Seeds, will be responsible for the Silage-Specific corn product lines of FullTime Forage and TMF, as well as sorghum and alfalfa. A native of central Illinois, Cannon is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and has been with Dow AgroSciences for five years.
