Dairyland Seed recently announced the release of 18 new corn hybrids for the 2005 planting season.  Each of these varieties can be seen at research tours and field days through the Midwest this fall.  Descriptions of these new products follow:

Roundup Ready® technology.  Stealth-6685 offers you an early dent-by-dent hybrid with consistent high yields across various growing environments.  Excellent root strength and disease resistance are featured in Stealth-6685.  Excels at high plant populations.

86 Day  Stealth-7685
You get the double bonus!!  You’ll benefit from the ease and coverage of your Roundup herbicide application while on the other hand not having to worry about spraying your fields for the European Corn Borer!!  Great roots and disease resistance!!  You can hit peak yields at high plant populations! 

90 Day Stealth-1690tc "NEW 90 Day Stealth-1690"
A YIELD STAR in a brand new genetic package!  Our team of hybrid corn plant breeder scientists proudly brings forward this new Stealth-1690 Hybrid Corn variety to generate those extra bushels of grain that your farming operation seeks.  Stealth-1690 features good plant health on a medium height plant that exhibits an upright leaf structure.  You’ll see a longer, moderately girthy ear of corn. 

93 Day Stealth-5692
YieldGard Corn Borer protection. You’ll see strong stalks and roots but most of all you’ll see extra grain production.  An excellent Western adaptation thru western WI, MN, ND and SD.  Stealth-5692 provides a strong medium height plant with a cob that has a high ear flex trait.

93 Day Stealth-6194
Roundup Ready® technology.  This genetic combination provides excellent disease resistance, which means excellent stay green in this hybrid that transfers grain into a medium girthy ear that is physically medium to long in length.  A nice strong yield package in a medium-to-tall plant.

94 Day Stealth-8194
NEW technology that combines three key yield components: (1) Scientific genetic yield capability of Stealth-5194, (2) YieldGard Corn Borer protection and (3) YieldGard rootworm protection.  Now called YieldGard Plus our Stealth-8194 gives two insect families the double-whammy while allowing for great plant development.  Excellent early growth, stalks and staygreen.  Medium-girthy ears develop from medium-to-long cobs.

97 Day Stealth-6497tc "NEW 97 Day Stealth-6497 [T,C]*"

103/101 Day Stealth-6503
