Fontanelle Hybrids expands territory and staff

Fontanelle Hybrids, of Fontanelle, Nebraska is expanding its coverage of Kansas and Missouri by adding two District Sales Managers to the sales team. At the same time, the Company is expanding the team at the corporate office in Fontanelle by creating a new position in the accounting department. “We are a growing company with a growing customer base, an expanding product line up, a new facility and now better coverage in two key states and three new employees,” Steve Pike, sales manager said.

“We’ve been marketing in Kansas and Missouri for more than 25 years, and we’ve seen a healthy increase in sales in those areas during that time,” Pike said. “In fact growth had reached the point where we needed to add personnel so that we could live up to our commitment to provide our customers with unparalleled service.”

Rob Sparks, Maryville, Missouri joins the company as a District Sales Manager for Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. And Ed Putnam, Holliday, Missouri comes on board as a District Sales Manager and Regional Agronomist for Central Missouri. “Both Ed and I have a number of years of experience in the seed industry,” Sparks said. “And we are excited about joining the Fontanelle team because of the Company’s focus on providing products and service that add value for the customer. We’ve got the back ground in the seed industry, and we are look forward to working with area farmers to build a partnership for their seed needs.”

Along with two new members of the sales team, the Company has expanded the accounting department. “Due to our continued growth coupled with the complexity of our business today, our reporting and accounting duties have grown as well,” Pike said.  “As a result, we are pleased to announce Taron Jorgensen has joined the Fontanelle team.” Jorgensen’s duties, as a CPA, focus on month-end and year-end accounting and third party reporting.
