Sakata Seed
America, Inc. is pleased to announce that as part of
acquisition of the flower division of L.Daehnfeldt A/S, Denmark
by Sakata Seed Corporation, Japan, Sakata Seed America, Inc.
will acquire operations and all assets of Daehnfeldt’s US
entity, Daehnfeldt Inc., North Manchester, Indiana. The
acquisition transfer date will be complete on August 29, 2003
and the books will close on that day. Please be advised that
September 1st is a U.S. holiday, so the first
business day of new ownership will be September 2, 2003.
To make this transfer process go as smoothly as
possible, Daehnfeldt’s U.S. operation will be managed by Joe
Messer, under the direction of Sakata Seed America. Please
continue to work with your current customer service
representatives at Daehnfeldt until further notice. The current
staff will continue to operate the business as usual, only under
the “Sakata” company name.
The integration of Daehnfeldt and Sakata products
will strengthen Sakata’s ability to provide high quality
products and customer service to the floral industry.
Sakata Seed America, Inc. is located in Morgan
Hill, California. The company provides high quality flower and
vegetable seed. |
