Syngenta Seeds is proud to
announce that it has successfully achieved renewal of its ISO
9001 registration. Additionally, the added achievement of ISO
9001:2000 standard registration assures that quality systems are
in place for not only the supply processes, but also the quality
assurance, parent seed and customer support processes, as well
as the overall management of NK* Brand corn hybrids and soybean,
alfalfa and wheat varieties.
The
Syngenta Seeds supply management team first achieved ISO
certification in 1998 and has received favorable reviews by
third party audits every six months since. "Our supply
management team has done an exemplary job managing the overall
production and handling of NK Brand seed products," said Albin
Hubscher, head, corn & oil seeds, North America, Syngenta
Seeds. "Syngenta employees at each of our 14 locations take
great pride in delivering products that exceed quality
standards."
ISO 9001 is
a collection of standards for quality management, quality
assurance and continuing improvements that have been adopted by
countries around the world. The International Organization for
Standardization (ISO) is a non-governmental organization
established in 1947 and is the world's largest developer of
voluntary technical standards.
"Achieving
the added ISO 9001:2000 standard for management practices
further illustrates our commitment to continually improve our
products, enhance customer satisfaction and deliver products to
customers that exceed their needs," added Hubscher. "Using our
ISO Business Quality System helps us continually challenge
ourselves to improve our business model and find new and better
ways to assist growers in their pursuit of success."
