The gerbera assortment of
Florist de Kwakel B.V. has
been extended. Florist de Kwakel B.V. is taking over a major
part of the gerbera assortment, formerly sold by Royal van
Zanten.
As from today Florist will start selling the
Royal van Zanten varieties on a commercial basis to flower
growers around the world. For this purpose separate agreements
have been made with the growers/breeders; Van der Goes, Van der
Lans and Van Marrewijk, breeders of the various gerbera
varieties.
Varieties which already proved themselves in
the market, such as Annemarie®, Britta®, Everest, Luna®, Meteor®
and Tomahawk®, will be marketed by Florist.
The contemporary assortment of Florist already
consisted of a broad colour palette, but through these
cooperation’s, Florist expects to reach an even larger amount of
growers in the worldwide market for young plants.
