Danson Seed Company, Inc. announces the first limited release in a series of new culture tomatoes. 

Tomato 206 now named Durable produces export quality fruit when grown directly on plastic mulch.   Durable has a very concentrated set of fruit that are quite uniform for size, shape, and maturity.  It has a very vigorous deteminate plant that provides good cover.  It has light green shoulders and ripens to a beautiful red color.  The fruit are quite firm when fully ripe and can be shipped at full red. It is widely adapted and has performed well in Mexico, USA, Bulgaria, and Turkey.  Durable produces fruit that are 240-280 gr.
