The legal action contemplated by the Office of the New York State Attorney General is not only unwarranted but also contains allegations that grossly misrepresent the truth. Dow AgroSciences intends to wage a vigorous defense against these meritless accusations. For example, it is irresponsible for the Attorney General to imply that labeled uses of Dursban* insecticide have resulted in injuries to humans. The truth is that there is not a shred of credible scientific evidence supporting these allegations.

More than 3,600 scientific studies have established the safety and effectiveness of these products. All pest control products should be used according to the label. We are convinced that our products are both safe and beneficial when used appropriately.
