Fontanelle, Nebraska
October 15, 2002
District Sales Manager (DSM) John
Naylor, Wellman, Iowa earned the Top DSM Award for
Fontanelle Hybrids for the
2001-2002 sales season. "It’s great to see John earn this
award," Steve Pike, sales manager said. "Not only is he one of
our newer DSM’s, he’s also basically building the southeast Iowa
area from scratch because it’s a new area for us."
The Top DSM Award is based upon the number of acres of growth
a DSM has from the previous year. It includes the entire
Fontanelle product line up of corn, soybeans, sorghum,
sunflowers and alfalfa.
"In order to accomplish what John did meant that he was
successful the year before in getting a lot of growers to plant
Fontanelle on their farm," Pike said. "Most of these growers
were first time Fontanelle customers so we were up against their
current competitive products."
"John’s got his own style of customer service," Pat Groth,
regional sales manager said. "He continually proves to his
dealers and customers that he can and will outservice anyone in
the seed industry. John’s known for his honesty, straight
forward ideas, excellent product knowledge and his willingness
to go that extra length to achieve customer satisfaction."
"He’s put together a team of excellent Stalkholder dealers,
which is the designation we give to our top dealers. The
Stalkholders, like John, are excited to grow their seed
business," Pike said. "John’s success comes from the
personalized service he offers growers, and his passion for the
seed business. Everyone at Fontanelle Hybrids is proud of what
John has accomplished."
