Several of Agricore
United's distribution
centres have received registration for the global ISO 9001:2000
Quality Management System, a demanding quality standard.The crop
production services distribution centres in Morden, MB, Regina,
SK and Vermilion, AB are now officially ISO registered. Agricore
United's canola seed treating plant in Vermilion and
forage seed processing operation in Fort Saskatchewan, AB
are also ISO registered.
"Quality and consistency are of paramount importance in our

United. "By maintaining strict quality standards at our
facilities, Agricore United is responding to customer needs and
will be recognized as a consistent supplier."
By receiving the ISO 9001:2000 registration, Agricore United has
met an international set of standards and adopted an effective
quality management system.To qualify, the four distribution
centres had to document the procedures involved in receiving,
processing and shipping product to provide a guide for
producing the same consistent quality every time. Agricore
United demonstrated it has addressed all areas of the standard
and has documented procedures to ensure that each area is
monitored and controlled.
