Chemtura’s development of innovative solutions and new products benefits from the expertise of different specialists working at a single location. Germination testing, biological screening, efficacy and crop safety testing, formulation development and application technology are combined in a joined up approach to developing solutions that anticipate our customers’ requirements.

Located within the Seed Technology Centre is the Application Technology Unit (ATU), enabling us to treat seed on a commercial scale.  Evaluation of applications to commercial lots of seed is essential for understanding how products will perform in our customers’ treating systems. The ATU equips qualified Chemtura engineers to advise customers on their applications and technical service needs, and to fine tune training programs. We are able to assist customers by evaluating applications using multiple product components and by auditing application rates and treatment quality.
