Argonaut F1

Argonaut’s plant is vine-like in its habits, with a strong canopy, and very vigorous. The fruit is cylindrical in shape, and bright gold in color with a hard, tough rind, which has a smooth texture with sutures. Argonaut’s interior is a medium orange color with very sweet flavor and excellent meaty texture. The fruit size averages 40 to 70 centimeters, weighing up to 15 kg.

Maturity: Approximately 140 days to maturity

Argonaut is suitable for home gardens and fresh markets. This variety has a very long shelf life, and a small seed cavity at the blossom end. Under proper conditions can store for up to 8 months.
