Amira has a mid-size, upright bush
with cut leaves having distinct silver markings. The fruit is a
more cylindrical version of the Lebanese Vegetable Marrow type
hybrid with concentrated yields.
Picking: Approximately 45 days to maturity -- long picking
periods.
Amira is similar in shape to Eskandarani or Queen with coloring
similar to Clarita. It is good for both tunnel and open field
production. It is suitable for markets in the Mediterranean and
Middle East areas. An outstanding choice for commercial growers.
