Advantages

  • Slower bolting than comparable varieties
  • Dark green

A Harris Moran proprietary butterhead variety developed for its distinctive dark green color, smoother leaves, and greater uniformity of size and type when compared to Dark Green Boston.  Tania's heads are soft, tender and slower bolting than Dark Green Boston.  Tania is adapted to cooler growing conditions and is resistant to Downy Mildew (California pathotypes I, II, III and IV).  Slower bolting than comparable varieties.
