Siroco is a pre-commercial
mid-late hybrid Nantes carrot.
The vigorous dark green top has a strong attachment and
offers one of the best tolerance against Alternaria blight and
Mildew (as good as Bolero).
The 8 to 9 inches long root is smooth, with a cylindrical
to conical shape and a well blunt tip. It has an excellent
external and internal color with a small size core.
These qualities plus a high potential yield has enabled
Siroco (VAC-30) to get the highest ratings in the last 2 years
in both the growers and processors slicing carrot trials.
