XBEET® - A new generation priming technology for sugar beet seed

Where next?

XBEET is a clear breakthrough in priming technology for sugar beet seed. Data secured by independent testing delivers a unanimous result which confirms its performance in advancing the crop safely for a consistently higher gain. Today’s sugar production climate needs all tools at its disposal, which deliver noticeable returns on the investment made. XBEET is one such tool, and its performance on the wide range of genetic sources gives it a universal appeal.

A more extensive network of XBEET trials has been put in place in 2008 in the USA, UK and Continental Europe through the collaboration of the Sugar Industry, beet growers and European seed companies.

Germain’s commercial experience gained in the USA is being invested in Europe in 2008 with the creation of a first large scale XBEET priming facility at its King’s Lynn site. This will enable Germain’s to offer XBEET primed sugar beet seed to the UK growers for planting in 2009.
