Sometimes problems arise in the greenhouse or field that the grower is not able to identify or explain. Many disorders can be caused by abiotic factors such as pesticide damage, frost, heat, hail, and/or nutrient deficiency. Often times, plant pathogens (i.e., disease causing agents) are responsible for the symptoms or injuries observed in the field.
