UC Davis European Plant Breeding Academy graduates the third class

Last week, UC Davis European Plant Breeding AcademySM (PBA) graduated the third class with a session in Davis, California.  Over the last two years, during the six sessions held in Gent, Belgium; Angers, France; Gatersleben, Germany; Enkhuizen, The Netherlands; Barcelona, Spain, and UC Davis, nineteen participants in this class spent more than 300 hours in classes, workshops and the field, training towards the Plant Breeding Academy Certificate.

The Plant Breeding Academy is a premium professional certificate program offered in the USA, Europe, Asia and Africa.  Nine classes offered worldwide since 2006 have been attended by 171 breeders from 44 countries, making the UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy (PBA) the most recognized program of its kind. 

The next class of the European Plant Breeding Academy starts in October 2015.  Registration is still open for the remaining few spots in the class.
