SOLTIS is an international plant breeding organization specialized in sunflower breeding. SOLTIS is a joint subsidiary of EURALIS and LIMAGRAIN Groups.

In the framework of our development, we are looking for a Senior Sunflower Breeder, based near Toulouse, France.

• You are responsible of the evaluation of all the Soltis hybrids in our european trial network.
• With the help of the trialling coordinator, you are in charge of all the european trials and of the experimentation activity.
• You are in charge of the whole hybrid making plan, from the crossing plan to the setting up of winter nurseries productions.
• You implement the knowledge of the parental lines, especially their value in hybrid combinations.
• You are in charge of the germplasm exchanges or transfers with Soltis partners.

• PhD or equivalent.
• Specialized in Genetics / Plant Breeding.
• At least 5 years of experience in hybrid breeding is required.
• You have a strong background in agronomy, data analysis, genetics and statistics
• You are ready to travel in Europe on a regular basis.
• You have excellent leadership and management skills.
• You are interested in working outside on the fields.
• You have excellent communication skills and you are fluent in French and English.
